Will the Lakers make any moves before the trade deadline?

They have already tried to trade Kwame Brown (Expiring Contract) Jordan Farmar Sasha Vujacic and a first round pick to the Nets for Jason Kidd. That trade was declined. If the Lakers could make a deal for Kidd do you think they should? Their new team with that trade would have been Kidd Kobe Lamar Ariza and Bynum starting with Derek Fisher and Luke Walton coming off the bench? Look good or no?

I can't see them making any significant deals. If anything, if Kwame's contract is in fact expiring, they might be better off holding on to him and going after a free agent next season. It's clear now that holding onto Bynum was the correct choice last year even if it meant losing out to Kidd %26amp; ticking off Kobe.

They are not winning any title this year. Build momentum for next year should be their plan (while giving the impression that they are playing for this year) unless another team gets stupid and gives them a piece for nothing...

there is two option

-they can trade kwame and crittion for a superstar like paul gasol

-wait for his contract and sign JO
Moving Kwame Brown and his big fat contract for a small forward who can shoot and a power forward looks like the trade they might do
Kwame Brown has got to go...he's no good on offesnse and has terrible footwork and bad hands
Yes, although that trade would be great for the lakers, its obvious why the nets declined the offer. They would be reciving Kwame butterfingers and two young players. There is no way this deal was going to happen. The Lakers however are hesitant to give up Odom for Kidd, and unless they do hes not coming over to LA. Unless the Lakers get this deal done, I dont see LA making other major trades. Theyre playing well right now and are in contention in the West. Kobe is dropping it like its hot and apperently backed off the trade demand. The lineup you invision would be nasty but will never happen. Something like Kidd, Bryant, Walton, Turiaf, and Bynum is more likely. Dude Kidd has like two years of real contention left in him, Farmar is playing great right now and so is Fisher. The Lakers dont need any change right now, did you not just see them rape the Suns?
if they get rid of kwame brown, i'm gonna be happy

the lakers are rolling right now and they don't need anyone to come in and mess it up. kwame is not playing anyways so it won't make a difference
